Maverick is a Texas-based studio originally founded in 1992 by Shelly Haffly and friends as Bad Blood Design Studio. In 2001 Maverick bought this successful design firm, and asked Shelly to lead it, and Maverick, in new, bigger directions. We have a proven track-record of delivering clean, reliable, beautiful, well functioning websites for small businesses nationwide.

About Shelly Haffly

Maverick Systems Corporation's web site design and development team is led by Shelly Haffly, a veteran in the graphic and web design industry. With over 20 years experience in print design, and 10 years in website design specifically, Mrs. Haffly has the design experience you need to get your online business noticed and the development experience to make sure it's done right.

Mrs. Haffly began her career long before computers were on the scene. Working her way up from the trenches, hand lettering, painting and sketching on the board, she has immersed herself into design since her days in high school. Since then, she has worked with and for some of the largest corporations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She has been involved in or led major projects for American Airlines, Boeing Aerospace, LTV (Vought), the Super Conducting Supercollider, Texas Instruments, Motorola, AT&T and IBM.

Maverick understands small businesses needs and demands because we too are small. We understand the budget constraints, the necessity to wear many hats, and the stress of being in business for yourself. Whether it's helping small businesses repair their machines or designing their online presense, Maverick keeps a keen eye on the growing needs of small business.

For years Maverick only designed sites for a select few businesses and then only by referreral. Now, we are expanding this market segment and have opened our doors to the public. We are seeking small business website design clients within our neighborhoods and in our core markets.
